TAE KWON DO I (Grades 1-4)

Class description: Tae Kwon Do is one of the most popular martial arts in the world. It is far more than just kicking and punching. It is also a philosophy, a way of life, and a code of conduct which emphasizes self control. As students learn the physical aspects of the martial art — coordination, strength, speed, flexibility and endurance — they will also learn the five moral tenants of Tae Kwon Do — courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control and indomitable spirit.
There are optional fees associated with this class payable to the instructor:
a) $25: Tae Kwon Do uniform--optional (Many kids simply wear a white t-shirt.)
b) $30: Graduation Test--attendance is optional (Once the session concludes, students are invited to attend a test to be promoted to yellow belt. This exam is held on the 9th week.)
c) $3: Wood breaking board for Graduation Test--optional (Only to be paid if student is attending the final test.)
Class size limited to 12 students.
